Skills for Vounteering course: An opportunity for young people with disabilities

We are currently recruiting for  Skills for Volunteering course in October half term.  This is a fantastic opportunity for young people with disabilities/learning disabilities to join a creative four day course to prepare them for a voluntary role.  Young people have found that it’s a great way to improve confidence, self esteem, work preparedness, and to help them feel useful and a part of the community…

“Loved mock interviews, games and drama acting”
“It was good for the future”         “Already felt prepared”
“[I] liked picking up stuff, helping everyone, cutting the trees, having tea and sandwiches with people in the break”
“[Volunteering] gave me the opportunity to be confident”
