Skill-Up for Work
Who is Skill-Up for Work for?
This innovative project is for people living in Camden aged 16 and over who have a learning difficulty and want to gain work skills.
What we are offering?
- We offer training on work skills, like CV writing, form filling, interview role plays and making telephone calls.
Work experience, work place visits and practical craft and cookery sessions.
A chance to set up a social enterprise and learn business skills.
Why join Skill-Up for Work?
By joining the project, people will increase their:
- Workplace confidence and understanding
- Work and entrepreneurial skills
- Understanding of the specific options available to them
In the longer term, we will support people into further training opportunities, paid employment and/or voluntary work.
The sessions run on Thursdays and Fridays
