Elfrida Rathbone Camden is a charity that works to support independence, empowerment and involvement in the community for disabled people, children and young people, parents and families. Our services include family support, disability awareness training and social and educational opportunities for young people with learning disabilities. We currently seek an experienced project worker to co-ordinate and support our team of Community Connectors, who are parent volunteers supporting vulnerable families in Camden alongside the Camden Futures’ team.

This role will involve:

  • Supporting the current team of Connectors to develop a calendar of activities, information sessions, events for local families

  • Supporting the Camden Futures Service Coordinator to recruit and train new Connectors

The successful candidate will have experience in empowering vulnerable people towards achieving their potential and inspiring them to develop a positive and solution focused attitude. The successful candidate will have experience and understanding of working within or to deliver community based support services.
